Luxor “the city of hundred doors”, or “Thebes” in ancient Egypt, is located in Upper Egypt and used to be the capital of the Middle Kingdom and the New Kingdom. itis located on the banks of the Nile River while splitting it to west and east. The temple of Queen Hatshepsut one of the most famous temples in the world was designed by the Queen’s personal architect Senenmu.
